I am currently embarking on a period of research entitled ‘Women Working in Horticulture and Science in Botanic Gardens’, which will support my post graduate thesis at RBG Kew. The purpose of this study is to elicit data about the barriers and opportunities for women working in botanic gardens around the world and explore current career prospects and career expectations of women.
If you are a woman reading this email (or those identifying as female) and work in botanic horticulture or science, please could you take some time to complete a short anonymous survey, following the link below.
If you are a man working in a botanic garden please share this email with the women working in your organisation.

The survey will take a maximum of 10 minutes to complete.
The information collected will be treated confidentially, covered by strict data protection, and will not be shared with any third party organisations.
Deadline for completion of the survey is November 22nd 2014. This is an important piece of work for the development of our industry and I would like to take this opportunity to offer my thanks and gratitude for your input into this research project.
